OLD CHALET SAANEN - GSTAAD
​
We bought this 17th century chalet in the village center and rationalized its layout to transform a disjointed sequence of very small rooms into a cotemporary accommodation with and old feel. We added bathrooms and we gave up attic areas to create a double height open plan living space and kitchen with new skylights. We sandblasted all old wood areas and we painted all areas covered in unattractive new wood.
