This classic example of Victorian architecture in prime residential location, overlooking communal gardens had been subdivided into four flats over time. We were asked to convert it back into a single house under strict conservation rules, according to its original layout, restoring period features such as cornices, architraves, shutters, floor tiles. Within this framework we still had to create a modern, clean and contemporary feel.
